Orange hard rubber, from American Art Plastics

We sometimes call this orange ebonite "tangerine" - a true orange, in comparison to the red-orange of most vintage hard rubber, though close enough in color to instantly recall the great pens of the 'teens and twenties. When worked and polished, it resembles coral.
